Description:
Ollie is a very funny and sweet Chihuahua mix searching for his forever home. Ollie was rescued from a hoarding situation where he lived with 60 other Chihuahuas. He is pretty shy but has been coming out of his shell and showing us how sweet he really is. When he warms up he does the cutest little tappy taps when you come home and will bring a toy for you.
Ollie would enjoy a quiet home where he can be loved the way he deserves to be. He can get pretty nervous about being handled, but has come a long way since his rescue! He loves to snuggle up and sleep with his favorite people. He is also learning how to sit and come when called, and potty training is going very well. He has been fostered in a home with cats and has had just a few issues with barking. He can likely live with brave cats.
He will require a fully fenced yard as he loves to run and play with his best buddy Perry. Ollie needs a home with people who are understanding of his situation and are willing to have patience and take time to gain his trust.
Chihuahuas are very loyal and devoted and can become great companions when comfortable with you. He will take time to warm up and will need help learning how to be a dog. He loves his treats and knows how to take them nicely.
He is very fond of his friend Perry who is being fostered with him. Won’t you consider adopting Ollie with his friend Perry to help out with his confidence?

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
