Description:

Lewis is a sweet little guy!! He weighs 10lbs, and we think he is a mix of  chihuahua and pomeranian. His favorite activities include napping and cuddling. A quick walk around the block 2-3 times a day and he is tired out. BoBo is housebroken and has not had any accidents; he used to mark ocassionally, but has stopped this since his neutering. He is fine with cats (my cat on the other hand is not so fine with him... but she tells him to get away and he listens!!!) He does best with dogs that are bigger than him, but is touchy about dogs his own size (he will growl at them while wagging his tail... so we think he is unsure of them, but does fine once he adjusts). BoBo likes kids as long as they are gentle with him. We would recommend him for a home with less activity as he is one of our calmer mellower dogs. He would do fine in an apartment or condo. While we would prefer him with an owner who is home a lot, he does okay when home alone. I've left him home crated and uncrated in the laundry room with no issues. He is crate trained and will go hang out in his crate for fun! He likes to sleep at the foot of your bed or next to you, but doesn't seem to mind if you put him in his crate. He is a great car rider, and a great leash walker. He does not know many commands, but he does know "stay" and he knows his name and will  come when you call. BoBo would make a great therapy dog! this  The adoption fee for BoBo is $225.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
