Description:
Pongo is a typical puppy. He loves to play with his sister and his toys. He is very friendly and seems to be a very well rounded puppy. Pongo is much bigger than his sister and has a fluffy coat. He’s mostly white with one light brown ear, some black around one of his eyes and along the edge of his other ear. We know that his mom was around 40 pounds and was a mixed breed but we do not know what breeds she was mixed with. We also know nothing about dad. We have listed Pongo as a lab mix but we have absolutely no clue what breed he is. We have included a picture of the entire litter so that you can try to make your best guess as well. Pongo was surrendered to the shelter at just six weeks old with his five siblings. They came from a very terrible living situation and were ripped from their mother too soon. Last Day Dog Rescue helped out another rescue by taking Perdita and Pongo so all the puppies could get the extra care they needed. Pongo and Perdita will be available for adoption the weekend of February 3. If you are not able to adopt a puppy during that time please wait for our next litter to be posted online. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
