UPDATE 6/4/10
Morgan is such a wonderful dog to have around! When I first got her she didn't have many manners, but she is much better now! She no longer jumps on the door when she wants in. She scratches, sits down and patiently waits for me to come let her in. She knows sit, lay down, and working on speak! She loves going in her cage when I am leaving, because she gets her favorite treat, her peanut butter filled kong! She loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. She gets very excited when playing with other dogs, and she likes to wrestle and jump around so she would be best suited with a large dog, probably bigger than her. But she also does great on her own, with her people friends! She does a hilarious high jump when she wants to see over the fence or look in a car window! She enjoys laying on the couch with her head on the window ledge waiting for excitement outside! She did great with kids that were older, she should go to a home where the children are at least 10. She just plays rough and could easily knock a little one down. Please consider Morgan to join your family!!

UPDATE 4/17/10
Morgan is learning how to walk on her leash, she gets so excited when she sees birds/squirrels/dogs that she needs to learn not to pull but we are getting there. She loves to wrestle and play with other dogs, and also enjoys lounging around and chewing on a hard bone. She gets extremely excited when given a new bone. She insists that you get excited as well as she jumps on and plays with the bone as soon as she gets it, she won't sit down and chew it until you get as excited as her! Very cute! She only barks when she's excited around other dogs and would enjoy another doggy friend to live with. She is a little on the rough side when she plays with other dogs. She would probably do best with a dog her size or larger to keep up with her.Other than that she is mellow and just likes to be by her human!

UPDATE 4/1/10
Morgan is 52 lbs and is a very pretty girl. She knows how to sit and we are working on stay. She is crate trained and has no issues going into the crate at night. She enjoys walks and still has energy like a puppy! We are working on her jumping, when she gets excited she can forget how big she is. She likes kongs filled with peanut butter and loves to give kisses!

Meet Morgan, she is just a beautiful dog with her red coat and white markings, she is playful, friendly with everyone people and dogs alike, she has beautiful green/gold eyes and she is eager to learn whatever manners and tricks you want to teach her because she is smart!  Her adoption fee is only $175

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
