Description:
I am a super smart, loving puppy who, after living most of my 9 months in a kennel, is learning that life is awesome in a home! My favorite things to do are run around the back yard chasing squirrels, play tug of war with my foster Dad, go for long walks, and get belly rubs on the couch with my foster Mom while watching TV.
I will admit that I take some time to warm up to people so I will need a person who is patient and willing to give me time to adjust. But once I do feel comfortable with you, I am an absolute snugglebug and goofy, playful girl.
I know how to sit, lay down, walk nicely on a leash, and am learning stay and come here.
I enjoy playing outside with other dogs of any size, so I would love to belong to a home with an older, welcoming dog to show me how great life is at their home, but this is not required. I love running along the fence with my neighbor dogs now, with my tail wagging a mile a minute. Little kids can be a bit unpredictable, so it would be best if I only had older humans who understand not to be too overpowering. All I need is a forever home with patient people and I will be the most loving and loyal pooch around.
I am currently 25 pounds and am about 15 inches tall. The veterinarian says I should probably only be about 30 pounds maximum when I am full grown. Perfect fit for a lap dog!
I promise lots of kisses for the family that is willing to give me a few days to settle in.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
