Ziggy joined LDDR in September 2009.

12/1/09: Ziggy is a bundle of love. He is very affectionate and loves to lay right up against you and cuddle. He also LOVES to play, he likes to play outside running and playing tag with my other fosters.  He need this or a good walk to burn his energy.   He is all beagle and loves to follow his nose, so he needs a fenced yard for sure. He likes toys and to play tug but he also settles down and snuggles up with you. He is an alpha dog, so he does like to have most of the attention and will get bossy with smaller dogs.  He needs some work to understand his place. He is mostly housebroken but once in a while does have an accident inside. Overall he is an adorable dog and would make a great playmate for another dog and older children. Please consider taking Ziggy into you family. He deserves a forever home!!

9/1/09: Meet Ziggy! At the last minute we pulled him to safety from the Montcalm Animal Control. We had to get him out quickly as he was being picked up by the broker who sells dogs to research for over $300 dollars a piece. Ziggy is a pure bred 13 inch beagle, he weighs about 20lbs and is very cute in person. He has a timid personality that will bloom once he is in a home where someone cares about him. Ziggy is about 2 and a half years old and will make a good animal friend in your home. His adoption fee is $200

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
