Hi there! My name is Bean! I’m a pit mix, around 3 years old. I came from DACC where I was so scared and shy! But now that I’m free I’m happier then ever! I’m super sweet and love everyone I meet! I love my doggie friends, chewing on soccer balls, but most of all cuddling! I love to crawl right onto your lap for cuddles and scratches. I really love to play with my toys too! My favorite toys are my stuffed pumpkin, monkey, and oddly enough, door mats. I don’t destroy anything though! Don’t worry about potty training me, I already know how to go potty outside. I’ve never had any accidents in the house. I sleep perfectly through the night in my crate too! Before I was rescued, some people were very mean to me. My foster parents think I was used as a bait dog, because I have bite marks and scars all over my behind. But that doesn’t stop me now! I love people and other dogs! I haven’t been around cats but I think I would love them too. I would love a medium energy family with a backyard I can play in, another medium energy doggie friend, and maybe some older kids to play with. I’ve got just a little bit of puppy energy left and can be a little jumpy and strong when I get excited, but it’s just cause I love you so much!

Here are some things I’m learning in my foster home:
-How to walk nicely on a leash
I’m very strong and pull when I first get outside. After a few minutes, I usually start to calm down a bit.
How to share my toys
-I’m pretty good at this already, but sometimes I just find that one toy I love so much and don’t want to share!
-Not to play with door mats
I’m weird and like to play with door mats and rugs. I don’t rip or destroy them, I just like to play and hold them in my mouth
-How to respect other dogs boundaries
I love other doggies, but no one ever taught me how to play respectfully! I like to jump on other dogs while I play, but sometimes other dogs take it as a threat. I also can sometimes make scary noises while playing. I promise I’m all play though!
I’m having an awesome time with my foster family, but I can’t wait to meet my forever family. I promise I’ll love you more than you can even imagine!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
