Description:
Hi! My name is micah. My favorite thing about being rescued is that I get to cuddle a lot! I love to be around people, go for car rides, sit on laps and just hang out where you are. If you want a buddy to jog or go biking with I'm your guy. I have lots of energy!! I am housebroken, I have excellent manners, I am good on a leash, I come when I'm called and I'm a very fast learner. In less then a wekk I was trained to stay out of the kitchen while human food is being prepared and I remain in a down stay position under the dining room table until your finished eating. I am very attentive, bond quickly and am a vigilant watch dog. Ii am a handsome dude, very trim and I have one brown eye and one blue eye. I've been told that I have won the hearts of many, I am very sensitive and I love to hear your praise. I do need to let you in a a little secret, I don't like to be left alone. Please take me everywhere you go. I will wait patiently for you while you run a errand or two, but please leave me with a rawhide to munch on and something of you to cling to so I will not miss you so much. Oh, and one more thing, I LOVE BELLY RUBS please take me home today. Our organization offers 24PetWatch microchips, which include free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. For more information visit www.24petwatch.com or call 1-866-597-2424. This pet also is eligible for 30 days of pre-paid ShelterCare pet health insurance. For more information please visit www.sheltercare.com or call 1-866-375-PETS. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Micah - ADOPTED 12.24.09 (click to see larger version):
