Hoover was very much a shelter favorite and there is a reason for that. He was held past his time because Hoover is a really special dog. He is the kind of dog that will melt your heart and make it sing! Why are so many black dogs overlooked at the shelters and at rescues? We have adopted out many black dogs and they are just as nice as a yellow dog. Black dogs hold a special place in our hearts because so many are put down because of their fur color. Hoover is a loyal, steadfast, smart good-tempered, laid -back, and affectionate dog who deserves and wants a home with a family who will love him forever. He is housebroken, 5 years old, and 65lbs. Hoover loves to swim and play!! If you are looking for a dog who will give you and your family forever love, please give this boy a chance and forever home. When you meet him you will learn why he is so very special. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
