Meet Winifred!
Winifred or Winnie for short, is a sweet tempered, go with the flow kind of pup, looking for a companion to go on a hike, or someone to just chill at home with. Either way she's your gal! She loves to sun bathe, chew on her antler, and run around the yard chasing the tennis ball. Winnie was found on the Detroit riverfront where a couple construction workers had been feeding her until her foster mom found her sitting in the sun. Knowing this was no place for a pup, she took her in just in time before the weather turned. Winnie is crate trained and is still learning some of her house manners. She is super eager to please and very food motivated! She is always trying to make friends with the cats and the other dog in her foster home and would love to have a forever home with a fur sibling or two to show her the ropes! 
 
 
 
 

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
