Description:
Hi! I’m Dobby. I’m about 6 months old and a lab mix. I’m super cute, really happy, have lots of energy, am a champion snuggler and love to play. And I’m a survivor. I was really sick when I came into the rescue a few months ago with a virus and allergies and was way too skinny. I had lots of people taking really good care of me and now I’m doing great! I’ve gained 24 pounds since I’ve been in my foster home and I still really hungry and love to eat. My foster mom says I’m all legs and tail and I’m growing every day. I have a stuffed lamb that is my favorite toy and I love to throw it around and catch it. My foster brother is teaching me to chase balls, but he’s still better at it then me. I’m a rough and tumble kind of guy and my foster brother and I wrestle together a lot. I speak my opinion too, if I’m hungry, I’ll let you know. If I need to go to the bathroom, I’ll let you know. If I want to snuggle, I’ll climb onto your lap and let you know. I have my own crate with a really soft bed (cause I don’t have accidents in my crate) and I often take naps and sleep in my crate with the door open. I’ve also found that the most comfy way to sleep is on my back with my paws in the air. One thing you should know about me, my ears are almost always flipped back the wrong way. I’m just about the perfect dog so if you’re thinking of applying for me you’d better do it fast because everyone is gonna want me!
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Dobby - ADOPTED 10.19.19 (click to see larger version):
