Description:
Hello! My name is Clementine and I am a Bulldog Pitbull mix. I am about 4 years old and the sweetest girl you’ll meet! My favorite thing to do is play with bones and lay outside to bask in the sun. I love going on walks so much and get so excited whenever I see a leash I wiggle uncontrollably! I love to cuddle with my foster parents and brothers and would love to cuddle with you too!
I’m looking for my own family with a nice cozy couch for me to nap on. I am very mellow and like my naps and relaxing time, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to play outside! I would love a family I can spend the whole day with, who will give me lots of pets and play outside with me. I would love a fenced yard, some older kids to play with, and maybe some doggie brothers or sisters too! I get along very well with other dogs as long as I am properly introduced and given time to adjust to my new surroundings. I don’t know how I get along with cats, I’ve only seen the neighbor cat through a window! Oh ya, I’m also potty trained and crate trained, although I don’t really like being in there too much. I’m quiet too, unless I see people or doggies walking past the yard while I’m outside. I love to sit for people, especially when I know I’m getting treats! I am a very good girl who just wants all your love!
I’m learning so much with my foster parents! Right now I’m learning that it’s okay to share food with my foster brothers, how to walk nicely on a leash, and how to behave when I’m introduced to a new doggie friend. I like to be fed by myself and don’t like when those silly boys get close to my food. I’m a hungry girl, trying to get big and strong! Because I love walks so much, I get so excited and want to see and smell everything when I’m outside. I pull too hard on the leash, so I’m learning that I can still smell things without dragging my foster mom behind. I’m great with other dogs after we’ve met. I have a tough time introducing myself. I get nervous and will sometimes snap at them.
As long as my family shows me that it’s okay and gives us time to get to know one another, we’ll get along just fine! Although I’m having a great time with my foster family, I can’t wait to have one to call my own! I’ll love them so much they have no idea! Hopefully they come along soon, and just maybe that family is you! I can’t wait to meet you!
Lots of kisses,
Clementine Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Clementine - ADOPTED 08.29.19 (click to see larger version):
