Description:
Hi everyone, I'm Tyrone! I'm about 9 months old, and I'm probably a husky mix. The shelter I was previously at listed me as a husky mix and I have a nice thick coat and lots of energy, so they were probably right! I won't grow much more than my current size, but will still get a little bit bigger. I might not look much like a puppy, but I am definitely under a year old. My teeth sometimes hurt as they're coming in more, so I need to chew. If there aren't toys around, I'll look for something else, but I do really like chewing on toys too! I can be a little mouthy at times, so sometimes I accidentally bump someone with my teeth but it's never intentional and it isn't too bad. It might just be something to consider if your kids are really little. I have met kids at an adoption event and I really liked them!

I'm learning a few basic obedience things like how to walk nice on the leash and how to sit for treats. One thing I have absolutely mastered is my potty training! I haven't had a single accident in my foster home. When I first came into my foster home, I didn't like my crate. I have gotten SO good at crate training though! My foster mom can point to my crate and grab a treat and I go right in for her and don't make a fuss.

My absolute favorite thing to do is play with my foster brother. He and I can run around playing together for hours. I would make a great doggy sibling because I love to play so much and I've been completely submissive to both my foster brother and sister. My foster sister is a little older and doesn't play as much any more, but somehow I'm able to convince her to get up from her naps and play sometimes! My foster mom says that's very rare and she must really love me if she plays with me.

I'll make a great pet for a family that has the patience to continue training me and the time to give me adequate exercise! If you're interested in meeting me, fill out an application!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
