Description:
Hello there,
My name is Booker. I was rescued from a life outdoors and am so happy to be inside finally. I came to my foster really sick so I haven't been available until now. Nothing too serious, just a bad upper respiratory infection. I'm sorry the photos are not great, my eyes are still a little runny... don't worry, we are working on that and they will be just fine by the time I am ready for my forever home.
I am a very friendly boy. I'm not sure why someone would leave me behind, but that's okay because I am ready to give someone else my love! I love everybody. My foster parents said that I am only two years old but I act like an old man because I am just so calm and sweet. I really love everybody. I would do wonderfully in a home with kids, I am just the sweetest boy. I came to the rescue with my friend Maddie who is also up for adoption if you might like two of us kitties!
I use my litter box without any issues and I like scratching posts. You know what would be awesome? If I could have a cat tower in my forever home that I could watch the birds and squirrels from the windows safely inside.
If you want a kitty that will give you lots of love and loves to just lounge around with you, please consider giving me a chance. If you have any questions, please email my foster mom at kelli.grazi@yahoo.com
Love,
Booker Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Booker - ADOPTED 12.27.17 (click to see larger version):
