Description:

Hi, I am Breslin!

I am a big, goofy, loveable, super sweet boy!  I love to play fetch and tug, run around outside or do these crazy zoomies and seated circles through the living room and dining room.  Because of this, my foster mom recommends I go to a home with children over 12.  I just don’t realize how big I am and I could accidentally knock a small child over.  I do need a yard of my own…no tie-outs please…they scare me, plus I just have too much energy to burn.  I walk pretty well on a leash, but when I see new people or other animals…I pull just a bit because they are pretty exciting!  I just want to be near my family and lean into you for some pets or even sit in your lap…yep, all 80+ lbs of me ;)

I get along with dogs of all sizes and am currently playing with four other dogs in my foster home, but sometimes get over-excited and play a bit too rough.  My foster mom doesn’t have any cats, but I have seen them at the vets and at another foster’s home and I am very curious about them.  So, it may be best if I’m in a kitty-free home.

I am housetrained and crate-trained, but do need a little coaxing to go in my crate…nothing a piece of hot dog or some other yummy treat can’t fix ;)  My foster mom only crates me at night right now and if she has to go out, I can be left in an area with just a baby gate without getting into any trouble.

I am ready to share all my love and cuddles with my Fur-ever Family for the holidays…could it be you?

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
