Hi My name is Mowgli. I am a very small guy and very shy to humans. My foster mom is building a bond so I can learn to trust humans but they are so big! I get along fine with the other kittens and cats in the house but I am a bit afraid of the big dogs. I need a family that will help me grow and gain trust- I want to I really do- but my start in life wasn't easy and human let me down. It may time a few weeks for me to show you how truly wonderful I am but it will be worth it if you have the time to allow me to grow.
Mowgli would do best with another kitten in the home with him. Mowgli watch learns trust and fun so much quicker with another kitten to show him the ropes. He currently get along best with Tucker and Baloo.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
