Description:
Piston was found wondering and stumbled into his foster mom and dad's yard so that he could play with the two dogs who live there.

PIston would love to find a forever home of his own, he is very good with female dogs, but a little selective with male dogs.  But do not let this stop you from adopting him.  We have been working with Piston at our training center.  With time and patience.  This could work out for him to live with another male dog.

We do not know if Piston would be good with cats.  He has not been tested yet.  PIston has been with children,  and he is very good with them at our events, and friends who have visited his foster family.

Piston is very active in the yard and outside.   He can jump a standard fence.  We do not want this to stop a great family like yours in adopting him.  With the proper zip line or outside tie we can achieve keeping this rascal in the yard.

He also would benefit with long walks on a leash.  PIston loves to cuddle in the house on the couch with you.  In the home, he is very sweet and quite.

Please fill out an application for Piston and we can set up a meet and greet.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
