Hi I’m Martha. I’ve been with LDDR since before I was born. My mommy was rescued by LDDR and they quickly discovered that she was pregnant. My foster mom delivered me and my 12 brothers and sisters. She was only expecting the 7 or 8 pups the vet saw on the x-ray, so we were a big surprise.
I’ve always been around other dogs and love to play with other dogs and humans. I love my stuffed ghost and carry it around with me where ever I go. I am crate trained and go willingly into my crate. My crate is in my foster parents’ bedroom. After my mommy and all my siblings were adopted, I was lonely in the puppy room, so my foster parents moved my crate into their bedroom.
I love to give kisses and I am learning that when someone turns their head away from me, it is time to stop giving kisses. I walk well on my easy-walker harness and I am very food motivated. I know sit, down, and shake. I learned to shake in about a half an hour. My foster mom is currently teaching me to roll over.
I love to cuddle and I know to ask permission before I get up on the couch. I am still not aware of exactly how big I am and I try to crawl into my foster mom’s lap like I could when I was very small. I currently weigh 45 pounds and my foster parents expect that I will grow another few inches and gain about 10 more pounds before I am fully grown.
I am a really wonderful dog, and my foster parents can’t understand why I haven’t found my forever home. LDDR will contact my foster mom and then you can set up a meet and greet.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
