Roma's Sponsorship Page
![]() Roma is a playful, affectionate, and food-loving dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was named for her love of tomatoes and has never met a snack she didn’t like. Roma enjoys playing tug-of-war, going for walks or runs, and curling up for cuddles and belly rubs when she’s done. She’s smart and very trainable but still learning her manners—especially in the kitchen, where countertops are a little too tempting. Roma reads other dogs’ signals well and respects their space, but she doesn’t always realize her own size when it comes to people. Because of that, she would do best in a home without small children or babies. Roma can be a bit nervous in new situations and would benefit from continued training to help build her confidence. She would love a fenced yard where she can safely run and play. She can be vocal in her kennel and has been known to chew through cables and harnesses, so secure containment is important. With structure, patience, and ongoing guidance, Roma will make a wonderful companion for an active home ready to match her energy and enthusiasm.
