Description:
Clint came from a high kill shelter in Ohio as an owner surrender. He is great with kids and other dogs and loves cats! He was surrendered because his female owner didn't like dogs, but her children loved them, and Clint. Unfortunately for Clint, who did absolutely nothing wrong, he was given up. Clint is young and very smart. In only two days time I was able to teach him to stay, and respect the word "No". He is young enough for the adopter to start fresh with him since he comes with no bad habits. He was never taught to walk on a leash, so he pulls a bit, but with a Martingale leash he improved dramatically. He was just neutered and is UTD on all of his vaccinations.
Clint is a dog ready to be introduced into a family who want not only a beautiful dog, but an intelligent, affectionate and young family member, one who will grow up with your children. He is already at his full size, at 42 pounds he could still use a few more, and will appreciate all the training treats his new family will use to improve his leash training, and other basic commands all good dogs need to learn.
Clint will adopted quickly, so if you are interested, I suggest you get your application in as soon as possible.
One last thing, you can be proud to know you helped save a dogs life instead of going to a puppy mill or a pet store who buys from puppy mills. We at Last Day Dog Rescue appreciate those who adopt from us, and when you do, you become part of the family, and not part of the problem. Thank you.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do o ur best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
