LDDr: More than just facebook...

We appreciate our many Facebook followers.  It is by far our greatest avenue for reaching people at this time to share new listings, adoptions, updates, pleas for help and helpful tips among other things.  We are amazed by the value of a "share" or a "retweet" on our social sites, and we hope that you will follow us and share our posts more in the future as it only strengthens our mission of saving lives. Aside from Facebook, we have spent a lot of time over the past 4 months working to build up our other avenues and we hope you will join us there as well. Here’s where you can find us on social media:

 

Facebook -  I mention this as most people don’t realize we have two pages for the public.  We have an open group which you request to join.  Here other pet lovers like yourself can post and contribute to conversations and share stories of LDDR alums.  Visit our open group here. We also have our public page where we post what we feel most reflects on the organization, its work and it goals. Like our Facebook page here!
  Twitter – We share on Twitter much of what we share on the public page of Facebook.  For those more Tweet inclined this may be a preferable option though we hope you will select both.  Twitter is another potentially huge audience for our adoptable animals and those needing special veterinary care donations. Please follow us @lastdaydogs and share our animals with your friends!
  Instagram – On Instagram we share our picture updates and hope to include more from our events in the weeks to come.  This is a great way to ‘see’ what is going on at LDDR.  We would also love for you to send us pictures artfully filtered of our alums here! Like Twitter, Instagram can be followed @lastdaydogs.
  Pinterest – We are really excited to have launched our official Last Day Dog Rescue account and thrilled to share the results with you.  Like above you will be able to see new arrivals, adoptions and updates but you will also be able to see all of our currently available cats and dogs.  We also have a board for tips and another for advocacy.  Follow our boards, send animals and tips to your friends. You wouldn't believe the positive impact this can have on our animals! We can be found on Pinterest here.
  YouTube -  We have also recently launched our new YouTube site.  Here we will have snip-its from our events, training tips and slideshows. We hope to keep this constantly updating with fun videos of our favorite furry friends! You can subscribe to our Youtube channel here!

So while Facebook may be how you found us, we hope you will check us out on the other social media sites you frequent and maybe those you don’t. As always, we appreciate all of our supporters and are always looking for new members of our ever-growing LDDR family.
