Description:
Vienna is an energetic and loving young dog! She loves to cuddle and she loves to chase her toys. She would be an excellent addition to any family with other dogs or  kids.  She does quite well with children (There was a 1 year old, and 6 year old living at her previous foster home), and other dogs, she loves play at Camp Bow Wow.  She gets so excited, she still acts like a baby herself!   She has never been around cats.    She loves to chase which is why she may not fit in with a cat in the household.

She knows Sit and Come and is VERY food motivated. If you have a treat she will trip over herself to please you, she does need some help learning new skills because she get distracted. But with the free training from Beyond The Bark Training, she would love to learn! Vienna is still working on some separation anxiety issues. She does not do well by herself, which is why she would do best in a home with another dog or where someone was home most of the time. She is trying to gain weight, and absolutely loves anything food related. Because of her hunger and large meals she is still having a bit of trouble overnight with potty training. I think as she gains weight and settles into a balanced body, she will be able to hold out longer. Her new home needs to have patience and she will give awesome rewards in love and snuggles.

Applicants who are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive preference.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags, the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
