Description:

My name is  Breyer. I am a Chocolate Lab/Blue American Staffordshire. (I have webbed feet like a lab). I have had a really rough start at life. I was not taken care of and then dumped to die. Someone took me to the shelter and since I had demodex mange, the shelter planned on killing me. Last Day Dog Rescue pulled me hours before I was due to be euthanized and now I'm in a foster home. I got treatment for my mange and now I have all of my fur! I look pretty stunning if you ask me. In the house my coat is a pretty chocolate color but outside it has a nice blue tint to it. My nose is also blue.

Recently I had another unfortunate event happen. I was attacked by another large dog in a different yard through the fence and was required to get emergency reconstructive surgery on my mouth. It hurt at first, but I'm all fixed up now and my stitches will be coming out this week. I am not scared of other dogs nor am I scared of fences like many people thought I would be. I am the most forgiving puppy ever! Despite the accident, my tail still wags all the time! I want nothing more then to crawl in your lap and lick you. I love when people pet me since no one did when I had mange.

When my food or water bowl is empty I will carry it around for you. (In case you don't notice it's empty) I like cats but since I'm still a puppy I try to play with them. My foster mom always tells me to "leave it" when I see the cat. I just don't get why the cat doesn't want to wrestle with me. I love all the dogs I live with and any other dog I meet. I adore kids more then anything in this world.

I am crate trained and potty trained. I learned how to sit and am working on other basic training commands. I am attending training classes right now and would like to continue them once I'm in my forever home.

My dream forever home is one where I can receive lots of love! The only thing I want more then anything in this world is to be loved. Is that with you?

Feel free to email my foster mom if you have any other questions:  Julie.K443@yahoo.com

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
