Description:
Hello, and please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Dr. Suess, but my Mom calls me Zeus :-))  She can call me whatever as long as she calls me when it is Breakfast or Dinner time.

Let me tell you a wee bit about me: I am almost 2 years old, am as healthy as a horse now that I am getting regular meals, and let's not forget the treats. I only eat Grain-Free Food, as I am sure you know that dogs and cats, for that matter, cannot digest Corn, Soy or Wheat. But my Foster Mom will explain all this to you when you come over to visit and maybe make me part of your family.

I am completely house trained, I only do my business out in the back yard like a good boy. I go in my crate without a word and love to lay and chew on my dog bones, and no I do not EVER chew on furniture, shoes ect...Although I would like to get ahold of some of the squirrels around my home in West Bloomfield, they sit up in the trees and just chatter at myself and my friends, it is very annoying.

Mom say's Halloween is coming up, now I do not know exactly what a good looking dog like me is suppose to do on Halloween but I am hoping I do not have to get dressed up and look like a silly goose :-))

I would love to meet you and your children, if you have any. I LOVE KIDS and adults.  I do not like cats and would n eed to be in a household without any other dogs, as I am VERY VERY fussy who I will get along with.  I love to go on walks also, can't forget to mention that, and I walk on a leash without a problem.

See you soon,
Your Future Family Member
Zeus

Oh and Happy Halloween!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
