Goliath is a complete angel! He is very handsome with a striking brindle tiger coat. He is super sweet and loves people! He is a big boy and thinks he is a lap dog. He loves snuggling with his humans! He is just looking for kindness and attention.

Goliath is super smart and very playful. He loves his chew toys! He has learned sit, stay, wait, come and adores balls! He's great at catching them but needs a little motivation to give it up even though he brings it back. He walks well on a leash with a little correction. Plays with other dogs but seems to prefer bigger dogs. So we assume he is not great with cats. He takes treats gently and doesn't bark much. Very treat motivated and loves car rides. A sweet soul hoping for a loving adopter to discover all his charm! His fur is soft brindled. Goliath makes great eye contact and loves to be near people.

Goliath is housetrained & loves riding shotgun in the car. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutered. Please consider making him your furever friend!.

Goliath was rescued from a southern high kill shelter that does not allow pit mixes to be adopted within the state. He now has a chance for a wonderful life...could it be with you???

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption.  AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification.  The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted.  If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip.  Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times.  Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do o ur best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
