Meet Toby!
Toby is about 11 weeks old, and is an extremely happy puppy!! He is definitely a mixed pup, probably Lab and a small terrier mix. He is lean and very energetic! He is VERY eager to please. He will do anything for a treat and we are working on potty training him. He sleeps in a crate at night with no problems and enjoys rolling around in the grass. He knows how to sit, and we are working on his jumping. For a puppy, he really doesn't jump all that much, when he sees you he sits down at your feet and looks up at you with those beautiful eyes asking you to pet him! Consider Toby for the next addition to your family!!

Hi, my name is Leo.
Do you want to meet the BEST WELL BEHAVED, SWEET dog ever...well thats ME! I know all commands, sit, shake with both paws, come and down. I am crate trained, although I really wouldn't need one as I am trained if you put a rug or bed on the floor and say "Spot!" I will go there, lay down and not move if I have a few toys. I walk well on a leash using an easy leader. I am very calm in the house so I will usually entertain myself picking up toys and putting them on my bed. I would also make the best running/jogging partner you have ever had. I used to jog 4 miles a day 3 times a week so I am already well trianed at the jogging part and will keep your speed fast or slow. I LOVE my family so I am much more interested in having a family than always playing with other dogs. I am good with dogs and also cats. I can totally entertain myself too even in a 4 foot fence I will not jump it, just wait for you to come back. Even in the house I can be gated with a baby gate and will not try to leave the room, I just wait for you. I am a little bigger so even though I live with 5 kids the youngest being 7, I am a little bigger so sometimes I forget my size and I am not a lap dog and try to sit on their laps or put my front paws on them and give them kisses. I am good with everyone and I like other dogs but I get a little rowdy if there is a bunch and forget my size which sometimes other dogs don't like. I am the perfect companion to anyone. I love attention and will sit right by you and never get on your furniture. At most I will do a butt wiggle and scooch as close as I can to your feet and maybe put a paw on you if you stop petting me.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
