Description:
Hello, my name is Murphy. I am a big sweet boy that is just looking for a nice quiet home to call my own. There is always a smile on my face! I may take a little bit of time to learn to trust you, but once I do I won't let you down! I like to go for walks, play ball, and be right by your side. I have been in a training program where I am learning that new people aren't so scary after all. I walk nicely on a leash and know things like sit, shake, and stay. The best home for me would be one with not too much activity or people in and out, surprises can be a little overwhelming for me. I'm also looking for someone who has lots of doggie experience.

A home without kids would be best, they are too unpredictable. I can be picky about which other dogs I like to play with, especially small ones, but I sure think some dogs are lots of fun! I prefer a home with no cats. I am house and crate trained. I hope you can come and meet me soon!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
